("Pet24Care", "we", "us" or "our") has formulated this privacy policy ("Privacy Policy") for the benefit of the users of its website ("you", "your" and "yourself") at https://www.pet24care.com (the "Site") to demonstrate our serious commitment to protecting the privacy of the data that we collect through the Site, mobile applications and services (collectively, the “Services”). We may automatically collect personally identifying information ("Personal Information") when you use our Services. This Privacy Policy sums up how we handle the Personal Information that you voluntarily provide when you use our Services. Your use of our Services will be deemed conclusively to constitute your acceptance of and agreement to this Privacy Policy and all portions hereof. We may change or add to this Privacy Policy, so we encourage you to review it periodically.


WHAT INFORMATION IS COLLECTED

Information you provide to us


We collect Personal Information you provide directly to us. Types of Personal Information includes:

  • Your name
  • Your postal address
  • Your e-mail
  • Your phone (or mobile) number
  • Your gender
  • Your date of birth or age
  • Your location
  • Your credit/debit card number
  • Your pet’s information (name, breed, date of birth, gender, veterinary information, vaccination details, photographs, etc.)

We may also collect and store limited payment information from you, such as payment card type, expiration date and a portion of your credit/debit card number; however, we do not store or have access to full payment card numbers as all transactions are processed by our third-party payment processors.

In some cases, we may also collect information you provide about others, such as when you send an e-mail to one of your personal contacts using our Services. In such case, we will use this information solely to fulfill your request, and not to otherwise send promotional communications to those contacts.

If you choose not to provide Personal Information, we may not be able to provide you with requested services or information.

Information we collect automatically when you use our Services

When you access or use our Services, we automatically collect information about you, including:

Log Information: We collect log information about your use of our Services, including the type of browser you use, access times, pages you visit on our Site, your IP address and the page you visited before navigating to our Services.

Device Information: We collect information about the computer or mobile device you use to access our Services, including the hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers and mobile network information.

We also use this information for reporting and analysis purposes which helps us provide the best possible customer experience

YOUR CHOICES

Account Information

If you have created a pet24care.com online account, you may log in and update, correct or delete your account information, including contact, billing, and shipping information. You may also e-mail [email protected] and ask for the information you are trying to access or change. You may also contact us athttps://www.pet24care.com/contact. We may, however, decline requests that are unreasonable, prohibited by law, or are not required to be honored by applicable law. If you wish to deactivate your account, please e-mail us at [email protected], but note that we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes. We may also retain cached or archived copies of information about you for a certain period of time.

Location Information

When you first install or launch our mobile applications that collect location information, you will be asked to consent to the application’s collection of this information. We require location information to use certain features of our Services, so if you do not consent to this collection, you cannot use those features. If you initially consent to our collection of location information, you can subsequently stop the collection of this information at any time by changing the preferences on your mobile device. If you do so, certain features of our mobile applications will no longer function. You may also stop our collection of location information by following the standard uninstall process to remove all of our mobile applications from your device.

Cookies and Browser Settings

Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually choose to set your browser to remove or reject browser cookies. Please note that if you choose to remove or reject cookies, this could affect the availability and functionality of our Services. Some browsers have a 'do not track' feature that lets you tell websites that you do not want to have your online activities tracked. Neither Pet24Care nor its third party providers have a systematic method for ensuring that browser 'Do Not Track' requests are consistently honored.

E-mails

You will receive business communications such as appointment confirmations and other administrative information.

Mobile Push Notifications/Alerts

With your consent, we may send push notifications or alerts to your mobile device. You can deactivate these messages at any time by changing the notification settings on your mobile device. If you are a Service Provider, however, certain Pet24Care Services may require that you accept mobile app push notifications or alerts. If you do not want to receive these push notifications or alerts, then, in addition to adjusting the notifications in your mobile device, you must withdraw from providing such Services.

Text Messages

With your consent, we may send service-related text messages to your mobile device. You may opt out of receiving some or all of these messages by updating your “Notifications” preferences under “Account Settings” in your online Pet24Care profile (these settings are not available in-app). If you are a Service Provider, however, certain pet care services or features may require you to receive service-related messages by text. If you do not want to receive these service-related text messages, then, in addition to adjusting your Notifications preferences, you must withdraw from providing such Services or using such features.

OUR MOBILE APP AND MOBILE WEBSITE

Our mobile app is downloadable onto smart phones. If you access our website via your smart phone, you access our mobile website. Both our mobile apps and our mobile website collect the same type of information outlined throughout this policy.
